Dr. Carrie is a licensed ND with over seven years of experience in naturopathic medicine. She is known for her genuinely holistic approach and attentive listening. She graduated from Bastyr University in 2017 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and completed a residency program in Seattle, WA, where she worked at Emerald City Naturopathic Clinic.
Dr. Carrie emphasizes that you are not defined by your diagnosis and that complete healing is possible. Recently, she has been integrating her practice with dermatology and skincare, especially in response to patients’ needs regarding hair restoration and loss. Her practice is evolving as she realizes her passion for dermatology, particularly naturopathic dermatology, which treats the root cause of skin issues rather than just masking symptoms like traditional dermatology.
This interest dates back to an experience she had about 20 years ago when she noticed a skin lesion on her sister and urged her to check it. It turned out to be melanoma, an invasive skin cancer. Her struggles with skin issues have also driven her to help others. Dr. Carrie finds deep fulfillment in assisting those who suffer from skin conditions, as they are often painful and visible, affecting one’s self-esteem. By addressing the underlying causes, she aims to provide lasting solutions for my patients. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and always makes people feel like they are a part of their healthcare.
Dr. Carrie lives in Gig Harbor, WA, with her husband, four children, a dog, a cat, and chickens. She also loves learning new things through outdoor activities and is continuously studying more about naturopathic dermatology.
