You will learn the Pros and Cons of counting calories and understand the limitation of this approach to weight loss.
You will be introduced to the concepts of the Body-Soul-Spirit connection and the interactions between these three aspects of the Human being.
You will be able to see how unregulated emotions can lead to poor food choices, you will learn and be able to apply the concepts of mindful eating.
You will learn effective tools for emotional regulation by working with Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.
You will begin to see how unseen forces/energies are influencing our behavior and affecting our bodies.
You will be introduced to the concepts of Ayurveda and gain a basic understanding of the energetics of food and how certain foods can affect our mood and state of mind.
You will understand the importance of fasting and detoxification and will learn some basic ways to detox.
